Colosseum

This enormous and impressive building, of the Roman Empire, is a stunning sight to visit. The Emperor Vespasian started this construction in 72 AD and it was completed in 20 AD, used by emperors to organize free games. The elliptical shape measuring 190mt ca by 156mt ca and more 50ca mt. and it could accommodate up to 55000 people in different levels. The underground level was made up of rooms, mechanical devices and cages containing wild animals. and the building was covered by a Velarium,  an enormous awning attached to large poles on top to protect people by the sun.
