The Arco dei Farnesi (Farnese Arch) is a beautiful arch, spans the street. Alessandro Farnese, the later pope Paul III wanted to connect The Farnese Palace at the nearby Farnese Square with the Villa Farnesina, located across the Tiber River. The arch across Via Giulia, designed by Michelangelo, is the only section that was completed.
